Quartz

This is stone without the problems associated with stone. Recent technological innovation has resulted in the availability of 2 cm. and 3 cm. thick slabs of quartz composite usually 54” x 120” in size. Typically, 93% quartz combined with 7% resin.  This results in a very stain resistant stone product that is not only harder than most granites and marbles, but is backed by a 10 Year Warranty.  Natural stone has no warranty due to the  possibility of  stress faults or cracks.

While CAESARSTONE, HANSTONE and ZODIAQ are heat resistant to 400° F, it is not recommended to put hot pots directly on your quartz or natural stone  countertop.  And because the showroom sample is identical to the slab itself, there is no bothersome trip to visit the warehouse to select the slabs for your kitchen installation.

The Quartz product has been used in the commercial flooring market for over 50 years displacing natural stone in these high traffic installations.  Proof of its superior durability and ease of maintenance.
